Here’s an opportunity to buy into one of Australasia’s most productive standardbred families.
Twinkle Bromac, a 7-year-old Rocknroll Hanover mare out of Artsplace broodmare Tallulah Bromac, is offered for sale with an eye-catching filly foal at foot by world-record holder Always B Miki.
Bought at the 2014 New Zealand Premier Yearling Sale for $100,000 by Mark Purdon, Twinkle Bromac did not make it to the racetrack and the Always B Miki filly, which has been admired by many, is only her third foal.
Twinkle Bromac is a half-sister to Tennyson Bromac (15 wins, 8 seconds, 2 thirds for $113,089 to date) and Turbo Bromac (7 wins, 4 seconds, 2 thirds for $33,320 to date).
Twinkle Bromac is from the same highly successful maternal line as one of Australia’s greats, Lennytheshark, which retired from racing last year with stake earnings of $3,007,585 from 39 wins and 33 placings. He was the winner of the 2015 Perth Inter Dominion pacing grand final and now stands at stud.
Lennytheshark’s great grand-dam, Mozambique, is also Twinkle Bromac’s sixth dam.
Twinkle Bromac's second dam was 2000 Australian 2-year-old Filly of the Year, Tandias Courage, the winner of 23 races (10 Aust, 13 USA). Tandias Courage left the $100,000-plus winning Harness Jewels-placed fillies, Tatijana Bromac (8 wins and $215,578), Tandias Bromac (14 wins and $193,951) and Te Amo Bromac (7 wins and $147,252).
Twinkle Bromac has not been served this season but the purchaser still has time to choose a consort for her.
